Q’s When buying EDC gun

What questions do you ask yourself when buying your first or even your second concealed carry pistol?
.
Here’s just a few:
-What is max capacity in a flush magazine for this gun?
-how reliable is this gun for self defense? I may very well be trusting this weapon to function reliably to save my life at one point.
-Do I feel confident concealing this gun?
-What caliber does this gun shoot? And what caliber do I feel confident using for self defense?
.
There’s a million more questions we could ask ourselves, but the one question I almost never see new gun owners asking themselves is WHAT AM I GOING TO USE TO SAFELY CARRY THIS DEADLY WEAPON ON MY PERSON?? 🤣
.
Seriously, in my opinion this should be one of the very first questions to ask. Your holster is JUST AS important as your firearm. A holster is what allows us to take a chambered firearm and safely (or not safely) carry it on body. I honestly can’t even count the amount of ladies who have messaged me asking for recommendations on holsters for their very specific pistol, and I actually don’t have a recommendation for them...because there’s certain guns that have very few quality accessories available to them, including holsters. I feel that if we can we should do our holster research, find the right holster and then buy the gun that suits us inside of that holster.
.
If you’re past that point, you have your pistol, and you have had a hard time finding something decent to carry it in go check out Phlster, Dark Star Gear, Tier 1 Concealed and Eclipse Holsters...one of them is likely to have a great option for your pistol.
.
The point of this post is to encourage you to take your holster very seriously. If you’d like more information on what to look for in a holster please go check out my YouTube video, “Good vs. Bad Women’s Concealed Carry Holsters.”
