Dark Star Gear Description: Our most versatile small auto holster! The Hitchhiker is made longer than the gun for a few reasons. The extra length allows a full firing grip while keeping the pistol stable in the pants, it aids in cantilevering the gun inward, and it relocates the corner of the muzzle lower on the pelvis to help reduce hot spots.

The rounded muzzle on this holster makes it a lot more comfortable than your typical IWB holster. It doesn’t poke you throughout the day. I have found myself wishing that it had a medium sweat guard (They make mid sweat guards upon request), but beyond that I haven’t had any complaints about the comfort or concealment of this holster. Furthermore Dark Star Gear has an amazing reputation of making quality products, as well as great customer service. I have this holster for my Glock 42 as well. The 42 holster is the same length as the 48 holster, so bear that in mind. Personally, I have found that the additional length is especially comfortable when I’m carrying on a belt, but don’t find it to be a necessary feature when I’m using my Enigma. For this holster I am using 2 Mod 4 1.5” Discreet Carry Concept Clips. The Monoblock IS NOT compatible with this holster.
