Mama Bear Concealed Carry

This is reality when it comes to carrying a gun as a mom or really just around children at all. I’m not a mother myself, but I’m around kiddos regularly.

This photo just happened candidly during our photoshoot last week. My 3 year old niece ran up to my sister and asked to be picked up, and as she put her hand on her mamas tummy she simultaneous put her hands on her mamas “tool”.

This right here is why I truly believe that mamas really shouldn’t carry in anything other than kydex. The hard trigger protection and retention inside the holster protects your littles from instances like this.

A holster is what allows us to take a deadly weapon and carry it with us safely. Do you trust your equipment enough to put a round in the chamber, holster and then proceed to run around and play with your littles? No? Then throw it away and find something better. The stakes are high here, I don’t see the point in risking an ND solely because you didn’t do your due diligence in researching the safety of your holster.

Most holster companies are like ANY other company out there, the desire behind creating their product was to sell something and make a profit off of it. Which is great, capitalism! Although, with that fact in mind you must also realize that not every holster company cares about your safety, rather they care about their wallet. It is YOUR responsibility to carry safely, do your research.
