I’ve been carrying my new Glock 48 MOS for about a week now. What a lot of you don’t know is that I also carry a tourniquet, quick clot gauze and pepper spray. I’m also currently working on adding a small fixed blade knife and a VERY bright light. I have those tools already picked out, I’m just waiting on their arrival and then working on how to fit them into my EDC plan.

Why do I carry what I carry?

Gun: If I’m met with lethal force I want to be prepared to fight back with lethal force.
Pepper spray: Not all self defense encounters warrant deadly force. Don’t come at me with the “it’ll hurt your court case” argument 👍🏻
Tourniquet/gauze: If I’m carrying a tool that puts holes in people then I should be carrying tools to fix holes in people.
Future knife: This gives me a second close quarter lethal force option if I cannot get to my gun. It’s also a good tool for cutting zip ties/duct tape holds.
Future Light: This is virtually the least amount of “force” you can possibly use. This allows you to identify a threat before it becomes a deadly threat.
