Dry Fire Mistakes Lead to Live Fire Mistakes

What we do when we dry fire we will do when we live fire. If we practice poor muzzle control, and lose our temper when we inevitably suck, then we will do so on the range as well.

Sometimes dry fire is frustrating, for me A LOT of the times dry fire is frustrating 🤣 When we are frustrated, we tend to behave as if we are frustrated, which can result in us completely forgetting about muzzle control and the potential dangers of speed reholstering...but it shouldn’t, and it’s not acceptable for it to result in unsafe gun handling.

The more we shoot the more likely we are to encounter a frustrating moment in live fire. It is important to teach ourselves how to behave when we are frustrated with a gun in our hand because, whether we want to admit it or not, we can easily transfer the angry mannerisms we practiced at home to live fire at the range. The way we handle our firearm when we are frustrated or even angry should not be different from the way we handle it when we are good and dandy.

*to clarify: the video is not a candid video of my dry fire practice. I am intentionally simulating poor practices, hence why I was using a blue gun👍🏻
