Below the Belt Printing (NO THANKS)

When I switched from carrying my 42 to carrying my 48 the first thing I noticed was...a new kind of printing. I’m talking about below the belt printing. That forsaken bulge that all the guys swear is not a gun and and all the girls want to get rid of 🤣

Since day one I have not wanted to move an inch on my style in order to conceal carry. One of my favorite ways to “style” a whole look is to front tuck my shirt. When I switched over to my 48 I noticed that the bulge below my belt line was making my beloved front tuck no longer permissible 🙄 So I started messing with the adjustments on my enigma. I wanted solid grip tuck, but not so much that it caused the lower portion of the holster to tip out below the belt. I wound up adding a larger wing (was using the small size of the modwing at the time) to help with grip tuck while utilizing the R3 hole for further grip tuck, but also using the L6 hole to help keep the bottom of the holster from popping up too much.

Those adjustments combined with jeans that have less stretch (higher cotton content), and a mid-high rise measurement on my jeans has made ALL the difference. Mid to high rise for me is between 9-10inches. No more unwanted bulge, and I can feel confident in the concealment I’m getting both with the grip of my gun and the muzzle 👏👍🏻
