My Thoughts on the Sig P365XL

So I got to play with the Sig P365XL with the red dot today 🎉
I was testing it out not only to use as my new EDC but to double duty as a competition gun.

I think it’s a great gun, it was super fun to shoot with the red dot, and it felt great in my hand, BUT I’ve only ever really shot Glocks. The reason why that matters is because Glocks and Sigs have a very different grip angle. Because of the change in grip angle shooting it felt SO different...like learning a whole new skill kind of different. So because of that massive difference I foresee myself sticking with Glock.

I don’t think Glock is better than Sig, or vise versa. I think both brands are AWESOME and you really can’t go wrong with either 🤷🏼‍♀️

The main thing I noticed with the Sig is that my recoil control was TRASH. As in...it felt like the gun was going to FLY out of my hand. I can control alllll of our Glocks no problem, and because I’m planning to use my next EDC as a competition gun I don’t want to switch over to the Sig grip angle and have to relearn how to hold a gun 😂🙌🏻

That’s just MY take on the Sig P365XL. I know tonnns of people that love them, carry them, compete with them, and conceal them no problem. This just goes to show that you cannot buy a gun based off of someone else’s opinion. Get yourself to a range that allows you to rent multiple firearms and select your gun through your own process 🥰
