Striker Control Device

The “gadget” is formally known as the Striker Control Device. It is a replacement piece for our standard back plate that allows us to mitigate the risk of a negligent discharge upon reholstering. If you train from the holster AT ALL with your Glocks, then this is going to be a very useful tool for you.

It in no way replaces safe gun handling, but it does allow us to mitigate risk. Even though we pinky promise that we are always 100% on safely holstering, we are also very much humans...which means we are flawed and we make mistakes even when we pinky promise, which is why it’s smart to create LAYERS of safety when we are handling firearms. The gadget allows us to add a layer of safety as we reholster.
